With every passing year, our initiatives became bigger and bigger with more people extending their support wholeheartedly.
2020
2020 may be called the year of the pandemic. COVID-19 turned the world upside down as the disease continued to spread, and its growing fear gripped people from all strata of society. We tried to do our bit by extending medical help and other necessities to people who had hardly any means of survival following the loss of jobs.
ALC undertook lot of relief activities – supplying food packets to the needy, distribution of medicines, and dry ration to the marginalized section of our society who have been affected mostly . ALC volunteers were in the forefront in the relief activities throughout the state. As a Good Samaritan ALC did it best and doing it now.
2021
In the face of unprecedented challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic during the second wave in 2021, ALC stepped up their efforts to provide support and relief to vulnerable communities. With unwavering dedication and commitment to humanity ALC was able to mobilize the resources and supplies, provide support to the healthcare system, empowered the local communities by spreading awareness about handwashing & mask usage.
Through a mix of empathy, compassion and sheer determination, ALC was able to stand as a beacon of hope for many in the local communities.
